So what is event design? Event design focuses on the décor, style, and aesthetics of an event. It's about creating a vision and then designing all the visual details to transform a venue or backyard into that dream.
At its core, being a wedding coordinator is about overseeing the execution of all your wedding plans on the big day. Managing vendors when they arrive, overseeing the final walk-through of the venue, managing your wedding rehearsal, managing your wedding timeline, and more.
Day-of Coordinator
Perhaps most importantly, the day-of coordinator is responsible for the wedding's timeline. Because couples hire the venue, caterers, and photographer for an allotted period, the wedding timeline must stay on track. The coordinator will evaluate and manipulate the schedule as needed throughout the day.
Bartenders can serve dozens, if not hundreds, of drinks during peak hours. This means taking orders, mixing drinks, and processing payments.
